Meet your mentor
Hello! My names Christian Erbe, and I’m a Concept Artist based in California. I’ve spent the last several years creating stylized characters, skins, and visual developing for both original IPs and major game franchises, including Fortnite and Overwatch 2. Currently I work as a Concept Outsource Supervisor at Blizzard Entertainment on Overwatch, helping guide the visual development and production of cosmetics while collaborating with artists around the world. My passion has always been character design, shape language, exploration, and creating memorable stylized characters that feel both fresh and functional. Throughout my career I’ve had the opportunity to help build new worlds from the ground up, contribute to live service games, and work closely with art directors and leads to bring ideas from concept to production. Outside of work, I live in California, I’m a husband, and father of two. Whether I’m mentoring artists, developing new IPs, or sketching character ideas, I’m always driven by a love for great design and the opportunity to tell a story through Character Design.
