Jeremy Fenske is an Art Director and Principal Concept Artist with over 15 years of experience in AAA and indie game development, with credits including Destiny 2, High on Life 2, Palia, and The Elder Scrolls Online.
Now, he’s bringing that experience to Lunar Academy to show you how professional environment concepts are developed from the ground up.
During this workshop, Jeremy will take you through his creative process for developing environment designs for video games. You’ll learn how to quickly explore ideas, strengthen your digital painting techniques, and create compelling environments with an efficient workflow.
From sketching and digital painting to using Unreal Engine to speed up your process, Jeremy will share the techniques and mindset he uses everyday while designing environments.
By the end of this workshop, you’ll have a stronger understanding of how to develop environment concepts more efficiently, iterate with confidence, and build a professional workflow.
Whether you’re building environments for games, film, or personal projects, you’ll leave with practical techniques you can immediately apply to your own work.

Requirements
To attend this workshop, you should be a beginner to intermediate level artist. Basic proficiency with digital art software (such as Photoshop, Procreate, or Clip Studio Paint) is also essential.

Jeremy Fenske is an Art Director and Principal Concept Artist based in Los Angeles with over 15 years in AAA and indie game development, with titles including Destiny 2, High on Life 2, Palia and The Elder Scrolls Online. Jeremy’s passion is creating new worlds that connect with audiences using a wide variety of painting methods. Jeremy also mentors artists, builds teams, inspires vision and shares his creative process globally. His art balances traditional techniques with new technology, emphasizes efficiency, world-building and cinematic storytelling.
